A Letter From ShareLove.Fund’s Artist Of The Year: MAIZIANNE
I would like to introduce myself. I am an abstract figurative artist painter based in Westchester NY. I paint mostly women’s portraits, dancers, Buddhas, customized abstract family portraits and occasionally 12X12” customized portraits.
My goal is to help others through my art, especially women and children that are most often in need of assistance. Women who endured hardships in life, whether personal or financial. I believe, anyone might be a day victim of a war, have an abusive companion, endure poverty due to poor health, a loss of a job or the lack of job prospects, etc. These hardships do put a toll on your mental and physical health and prevent you from moving forward with your life.
Women who need to rebuild their lives, raise and provide for their family in the dignity they deserve, do not always have the necessary tools to bounce back in life and to overcome the negative thoughts and emotions that they are overwhelmed with.
Raising funds for ShareLove.Fund can help these women bring hope and positivity in their life, therefore I am more than happy to give 40% of the proceedings of my sales to ShareLove.Fund.
I have donated artwork to FASNY, Feeding America, collaborated with art collectors to raise funds for their charities where half of the proceedings went to an orphanage in Haiti, Osvitoria (an NGO developing education in Ukraine), the Loyalty Foundation via InSight ArtSpace (to introduce and augment technology education programs for children in underserved communities), etc.
